Appointments

Appointment times vary depending on your dog’s size, breed, coat condition, and the services required. Every dog receives as much time as they need, with calm, patient grooming tailored to their individual needs and comfort. To help keep the salon running smoothly, please arrive on time for your appointment.

One-to-One Grooming

Pampered Paws Perth operates strictly on a one-to-one basis. This means:

* Only one dog is in the salon at any time
* Your dog receives my full attention
* A calm, quiet, stress-free environment

Please ensure you arrive promptly for drop-off and collection so the next dog can enjoy the same peaceful experience.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Life happens, and plans change — but please contact me as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

* Please give as much notice as you can
* Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge

This helps protect my small business and ensures appointment slots aren’t wasted.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, I may not be able to complete the full groom.

* Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled
* A fee may apply if the appointment cannot go ahead

This ensures fairness for all clients and keeps the day running smoothly.

Coat Condition & Matting

Your dog’s coat condition is assessed at every appointment.

* If matting is present, a clip-off may be required for your dog’s comfort and welfare
* Additional charges may apply for severe matting due to the extra time and care involved

I always prioritise your dog’s wellbeing and will discuss any necessary changes to the groom with you.

Behaviour & Safety

Your dog’s safety — and mine — is always the top priority. If a dog shows signs of extreme stress, aggression, or behaviour that makes grooming unsafe, I may need to stop the session. A partial groom fee will apply for the time spent. I will always work gently and patiently to help nervous dogs feel at ease.

Health & Welfare

Please let me know if your dog has any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries before their appointment. Dogs with contagious conditions (such as kennel cough, fleas, or skin infections) cannot be groomed until fully recovered. If fleas are discovered during the groom, a flea-cleaning surcharge will be added to cover additional cleaning and sanitising.

Puppies

Puppies are welcome once fully vaccinated. Early, positive grooming experiences help build confidence and reduce stress as they grow. Sessions may be shorter to ensure the experience remains calm and enjoyable.

Payments

Payment is due at the end of each appointment. Accepted methods: cash or bank transfer. Charges may apply for late cancellations, missed appointments, or additional services such as matting removal.

Photography

I sometimes take photos of dogs after their groom for social media. If you prefer your dog not to be photographed, just let me know — I will always respect your wishes.
